beach pics.

this first photo is of sk on the way to amelia.  this photo is interesting because she willingly wore this little shorts outfit that day.  that was june 2nd and perhaps the last time anyone will ever see any form of shorts/pants/capris on this child again.  while at the beach, her dress obsession kicked into some kind of gear that i didn't know existed.  she seriously began to hyperventilate at the pure mention of the word "pants" or any other garment besides smocked dresses (yes, smocked...not play dresses...smocked) or princess dresses.  so the cute capri outfits that ava and bryce wore that sk also has didn't get worn by sk.  for the remaining pics you will see sk in one of three things....a bathing suit, a princess gown, or a smocked dress.   

ahhhh.....a solution to keeping dripping wet little girls from having to go in the cool house to use the potty.  froggy didn't just serve the littlest one...the twins enjoyed this convenience as well.  if the frog were bigger then preggo here would have used it as well since hayes enjoys sitting on my bladder.

6 years and 34 weeks.

that's how pregnant i look in some pics we took tonight.  i appear to be 6 years and 34 weeks.  wowsa.  but actually, my handsome groom and i celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary today.  and i just so happen to be 34 weeks pregnant (34 weeks and 2 days to be exact, but i'm not really keeping track...ha!)

this is us.  6 years ago on jekyll island at the beachview club right after saying our vows.  boy i'm glad we decided to do that!  

and today....

we went to church this morning, worked around the house all afternoon and then went out to the yummiest dinner ever at the old village post house.  it was a nice day!  and we've just finished up a week of vacation together, too.  i'm not looking forward to him going back to work tomorrow - i just don't get tired of him=)

happy anniversary to us!  here's to 60 more!

and my 34 week pic...

pretty scared to find out this baby's weight on tuesday.  we'll find out her exact weight since i have to have another ultra sound to check my amniotic fluid level.  we consumed so much sugar at the beach - one day trey and i even went to 'island time yogurt' twice.  and i don't mean that we went two times the whole week, i just mean we went twice in one day.  we went to the icecream shop once and island time yogurt 5 times.  and then tonight i had peach cobbler for dessert.  i guess i'm hoping to give birth to a 10 pounder.

this is me at 35 weeks with sarah kate.  it's the closest to 34 weeks i have.

and look - we're slowly getting our sunroom ready for use!  our rug came in.  we moved an old wicker trunk from our bedroom to serve as our "coffee table" and it is going to hold all of sarah kate's dress-up clothes.

as our anniversary gifts to 'us', trey and i went into an antique shop in fernandina and found our little white side table and our blue lamp - both were a steal and i love them=)  the blue matches our ceiling perfectly.  now, i'll be on the lookout for  pillows.....may add coral to the mix with the pillows.  and trey now only has 2 blinds left to hang.  we're getting there!

"i'll swim with papa - he my bestie."

the week leading up to our family beach trip looked pretty bleak for ava and bryce.  thanks to the awful tummy virus it didn't appear that they were going to make it for our annual vacation.  we began to prepare sarah kate for this disappointment that whole week before our trip.  we'd tell her how sick ava and bryce were, we'd pray for them every night and we'd tell her that we just didn't think that they would be able to come to the beach.  and even still, everyday she'd ask, "will ava and bryce swim with me at the beach?"  so finally one day after my mom told me that ashley really didn't think they'd come over at all i had another talk with sk about it.  and she thought about it for a minute and then said, "well i can swim with papa!  he my bestie!"

luckily, the twins were able to come.  sk was so so excited to follow, examine, imitate and soak in every move they made.  BUT - before they arrived she did exactly what she had planned to do.  she swam with her bestie.  as soon as we walked through the doors of the beach house on saturday afternoon, sarah kate stripped down to nothing and waited patiently for someone to put a swimsuit on her and a puddle jumper so that she and papa could get the party started.  she spent sunday by the pool with him as well.  

i have pics from the week that i'm going through, although i really get a big ole "f" in picture taking this trip.  i think ashley got an "f", too.  i actually have alot of pics, but not much variety.  even still, i'll be posting pics from our trip in my next post.  for now, here are some pics of sk swimming with her bestie!

papa and sk worked up an appetite after their sunday swim.  sk ate her weight in chips and salsa.

they made it!

our annual kriner family beach vacation began on saturday.  after being virus free for a few days, ava and bryce (& j &a of course) were able to join us on sunday evening! 



whew!  that was a close one!  it's not nearly as much fun without them!

sk has been in complete heaven since they arrived.

not that she wasn't in heaven saturday evening and sunday having papa all to herself....

but it's hard to beat tea parties with your favorite princesses (a & b) and mrs. pots (aka mimi)...

and popsicles by the pool with one of your idols....

ahhh....this is the life;)

my beau.

loving on his baby sister.  he discovered a perfect little headrest tonight;)  i love this little face.  if he didn't always have this concerned look on his face then i'd say that he knows he is headed to his doggie daycare place tomorrow for a whole week.  i hate it for him.  he doesn't really like it and i'll spend much of my beach vacation watching him on the webcam and feeling sorry for him.  he'd much rather be the only dog amongst alot of people as opposed to one of many dogs amongst just a couple of people who float in and out.  he likes a lap, lots of good rubs, and he likes to feel special/important. 

 i think i'll designate trey as the drop-off person tomorrow.  sk and i just don't like to do it.  

try to have a good week little buddy!  i'd love to point you out to sk on the webcam and hear her little voice say, "look at beau-beau's waggy brown tail!  he is happy!"  she loves her beau and evaluates his tail wags every single day.
