we're back! we spent 4 terrific (and tiring) days at walt disney world with my whole family. boy, they really know how to make christmas time a very beautiful, fun and special event down at the big mouse's house! what a treat!
sarah kate enjoyed being with her cousins and family so much. she enjoyed all the rides and shows and meeting the characters. we sure did push her very hard....very busy days and late nights with no naps...and considering all that, she did great! we had some tired, 2 year old meltdowns here and there, but for the most part she was a trooper. of course the twins loved every minute of it! and they are big enough to go on most all of the rides now which is so fun! sk didn't miss out on too many rides herself! almost all of the rides at the magic kingdom are fit for a toddler. some of our favorites were: it's a small world, peter pan, the haunted mansion, soaring & finding nemo (at epcot), and pirate's of the carribean. sk rode the teacups with trey and papa and looooved it! and the christmas parade was fantastic!
so anyway, it was a very memorable and magical event. we appreciate mimi and papa soooo much for taking us. what a special christmas gift!

day 1. just getting to the hotel -the polynesian -and ready to go to the magic kingdom. papa took us on a scenic route to orlando instead of going through jax so we were so glad to finally arrive;);)
meeting the princesses. this is sleeping "booty." umm....while sk was "meeting" the princesses she spent most of the time on the floor trying to get her dress to cover her entire body and touch the floor just like princess dresses do. it was hysterical.
the twins are getting belle to sign their autograph book. sk is fixing her dress.

here, they are sitting with cinderella, but sk is staring at belle and is about to get back down on the floor to get her dress to be just like belle's. it's a little ocd...i realize that. ava is the most photogenic little thing! and bryce has a new smile that she gives the camera! it's pretty darn funny;)

day 2: breakfast in bed with mickey and daddy (who can, thank goodness, work on the road! he's working, but at least he's there!!)

day 3: character breakfast
sk was overwhelmed when the characters came to our table which was surprising since she enjoyed meeting them individually at the theme parks so much. but anyway, ava and bryce got their autograph books signed and the breakfast was really yummy and fun!!
