13 months.

ha!  well, haysie, you're 13 months old today!  and you look a little neglected with your drooly chin rash and bug bites, but i assure you that you are NOT neglected (like you would let that happen)!

some new things this past month:

*talky talky talky!  you are saying "hey" to everyone. you said, "hey ashley" "hey papa" "papa" and "bird" on our beach vacation.  you probably said more new things - mimi was keeping track so we'll need to verify with her.  you said, "mimi" too at one point.  you continue to say, "beau-beau" "bye bye" "uh oh!" "mama" and "mum-mum."  you've started to say your version of "thank you" this past week.

*you didn't walk at all on vacation and then as soon as we got back to our house you started taking steps again.  still just a few here and there.  you have started to be a little more like your sis was as this age: more cautious and more verbal! 

* you love your whole milk.  peaches are your favorite!  you love peanut butter on toast (no allergies there thank goodness!)

*you like to get your way.  you will throw a tantrum and you already know how to pout.  

*your favorite trick is still when we say, "how big is haysie?" and you throw your arms up over your head (so big!)  but if you don't feel like doing it then you certainly don't even humor us for a second.  

*you love music!  love to dance!  

*you now have 6 teeth but 2 of them just broke through so you can't see them yet.  you have a gap between your 2 front teeth just like your sissy!  

*you love to be held!!  you love to play in sissy's play kitchen (and yours now, too).  you have started to enjoy watching Praise Baby videos with me!!!  exciting!  you have never cared about tv but we have been enjoying those little videos the past few days.  you love watching the other babies do things and you love the animals, too.  and of course you love the beautiful music.

you are loved!  big time!!
