when i was in high school i had people call me a "gap girl" a time or two because i wore alot of clothing from (do i need to say it) the gap. well, that's not at all what this post is about.
i'm talking about this girl! this most precious baby girl has her big sister's cute little toothies. the gap was passed down from their yaya - trey's mom. i know that we don't know what their permanents are going to be like, but i love their little front teeth! no floss needed up there!
hayes has started to squint when she sees my camera - another phase that her big sis went through at this exact age!
below is sarah kate doing her eye squint - just a few weeks younger than hayes is right now.
i don't think i noted hayes's bottle status on her 13 month post but i need to add it. a week and a half after hayes turned one i took away the bottle and the formula. cold turkey. she did fine with it and loves her whole milk. she may not be as milk obsessed as sarah kate was & still is, but she certainly drains her sippy cup in the mornings! sarah kate could still live on milk alone. anyway, that's a milestone moment for any 1 year old. no more bottles, no more formula.
and she took about 6 steps to mimi yesterday. and is taking some here and there.
anyway, long live the gap!
