although trey doesn't consider today an official "roll over", i do! he wasn't here. hayes rolled over from her back to tummy quite a few times this morning while playing on her blanket.
there she goes! her temptation: her 2 favorites - froggy and octopus
she gets on her tummy but then that left arm gets stuck under her. that's where trey has a problem with me calling it "rolling over."
she loves to chew on her hands while she's on her tummy (or just any ole time, really).
so, all she needed was a little help getting that arm unstuck!
anyway, this is my blog/baby book that i write in so i can write what i want and i'm marking today as hayes' first roll over. she worked really hard to get on that tummy! it will only be a matter of days before she can get the left arm unstuck all by herself.
and just some more hazie pics...
we can now tilt her swing to a sitting position and put her toy bar up so she can play in the swing. she loves to sit there and look at her frogs (she has 2 that she loves).
and can't forget about the big girl!!
she decorated this pumpkin at school. she said, "i want to give my pun-kin some sugar!"
sk came to me and said, "i think daddy's palm tree is sick. will you come look at it with me?"
ha! one of her favorite books of all time is "fletcher and the falling leaves." i think that's where she got the idea about the tree being sick.
we moved the armoire ("dumbo's house") from sk's room to the playroom. we are going to put a t.v. in it at some point. i am thinking of either getting a print to put above it or else hanging an art cable above it. not sure yet. trey thinks an art cable would be best. and i'll put a couple of pics on the right side of it soon.
i framed one of my favorite pieces of art that sk brought home from school last year. i don't know why i like it so much - i guess because it's her little handprints which i love. and they are representing fish which is appropriate for where we live=) and i love the color orange! ( not when speaking of football teams though, let me be clear!)
so now the toy shelf is over in the "real" play area. definitely looking like a full blown playroom these days!
i ordered some playroom prints off of etsy. there were lots of words to choose from but we chose play, laugh, love and create. all of that goes on in that room so that's what we went with.
