folkston.

we went to folkston this past weekend. we had not been to my parent's house since hayes was 8 weeks old.  she is 18 weeks!  that is too long for sarah kate....she loves her trips to south georgia!

i didn't really take that many pics but i'm going to post a few that i did take.  a photographer from folkston took pics of our whole kriner family on saturday.  all the girls did so good!  hayes did so well - ate her dress the entire time, but didn't fuss so that's perfect to us.  christy has posted a few "sneak peek" pics on facebook and so far they turned out so good!  i'll share our preview link on here once all the pics are ready for viewing.

pic below:  on the way down.  we didn't even make it out of charleston.  the girl would totally still take naps if i drove her around town in the afternoons.  and yes, i have actually done that recently while both napped.  luckily i only live a few miles from the ocean so driving over to the islands is actually quite fun and refreshing while i sip on my starbucks & listen to my country music;)

mimi is finally getting her pool that she has wanted forever and ever.  it's not nearly ready yet, but will be soon.  trey is hoping to swim over thanksgiving so they better get cracking!!  hope papa will be on board with heating it for us if it's not too cold. at any rate, we will enjoy it SO much in the dead heat of summer when we're visiting and it's too hot to do anything else but swim.

cousin love.  riley and reagan were over at fran's so they ran right over when they realized ava, bryce & sk were outside playing.  sweet girls! hayes was napping, not that she could really be in the pic.  although, reagan could probably hold her - she's 9! hard to believe.
left to right: sarah katherine, riley catherine, ava catherine, mary bryce, reagan anna.  do you suppose we had a catherine in our family who we all loved??!!  trey and i changed the "c" to a "k" but it's after my aunt catherine all the same.

hayes thinks mimi is goofy.

we sat outside for a long time visiting with fran while all the girls played.  hayes enjoyed her time outside so much!

the girls did a harry potter science experiment=)

aunt ashley was so excited that hayes-o liked her!

watching the ga game.  go dawgs!!  now, if we can just beat auburn then i suppose we'll be back in the sec championship game.

sk would not stop for a pic but she was filthy by the end of the day.  big time.
a little painting gone crazy....

the weekend flew by.  sk wants to go back asap!  we are looking forward to spending more than 2 nights down there later this month for thanksgiving.

this has nothing to do with folkston, but i have a little obsession.  we are actually out of this stuff and i have been back to the store and was able to resist, but i'm sure i'll pick some up soon.
i like to dip pretzels in it and i also like dipping popcorn in it.  wow - good stuff.  i also enjoy it straight off the spoon.

it's a rainy cold day today!  trey will go to the polls after his rotary meeting and then come home to keep the girls while i go.  praying for a RR win.  this country could use a little R&R.
=)
