well this week went by so fast that i can hardly even remember what we did.
sk didn't have school on monday. i took her downtown to the children's museum for a princess tea party with belle. it was cute and she enjoyed it. they had some sweet treats, did a couple of little crafts, had their picture taken with belle and then had story time where belle read them a princess story.
after the event was over, sk wanted to stay and play for a while. she grocery shopped, played on the ship and played at the water tables. she really loves going to the c.museum. we don't go very often, but it is nice to live in a city that has one.
my mom came to town tuesday to spend a couple of nights with the girls. trey and i enjoyed a nice datenight downtown on tuesday night while mimi took care of the girls. i don't have a pic of us on our hot date. i need to get better about that. but i DO have a couple of pics of sk and trey before their hot date on friday night. our church has a daddy/daughter dance every february so trey took sk this year. she had such a great time! trey said that she wouldn't dance with him. i asked her why and she said, "because i wanted to dance with all the other yittle girls." ha! there were alot of girls from her class there and trey said that they did have such a good time running around and playing.

yesterday it poured all day long. then today it was so sunny and nice! we played outside for a while after church.
yes, i had to push dumbo.
hayes is a maniac! she is such a funny baby. she's not getting up on her knees and rocking but she sure can get around on her tummy somehow. she's a mess & is going to be into everything!! i'm not ready for the crawling stage yet so hopefully she'll hold off for a while longer. i haven't done any baby proofing at all.
i guess i'll do her 8 month post on friday. there won't be a "feb 29th" this year so i'll just take her 8 month pics on march 1st.
geez i feel like my posts have been so blah, blah, blah lately! informative? maybe. creative & fun? nope!
i'll have to fix that!
