no, i did not get my curly-girly's hair cut. will be another year or so for that!
BUT, my most handsome little guy in the world did get a much needed trim. he feels so good about himself!
yes, he is the cutest. sk said that she didn't like his haircut, but what does she know! ;) i can tell he feels better...he is more chipper, he was a little out of control on our stroll yesterday with his squirrel, bird and butterfly hunting, and he dug a nice new hole in our backyard. all signs that he is a happy guy.
speaking of that hole, sk and i thought we'd try to cover it up today so that beau doesn't get in toooo much trouble when his dad sees it after work. sk loves loves loves when it's time to get the shovel - we are usually getting it to get doggy mess out of the backyard, but today we tried to cover up beau's hole. our efforts seemed pointless. i think he's in for it. sk wanted to take a pic with the shovel.
she also wanted me to take a picture of her posing in different ways. i took my camera outside while we played so that i could get some pics of mr. handsome and sarah kate said, "what about me, mom!!!???" so this is what we got.....

now the other toe...
actually not bad ballerina form there, sk. we are putting her in dance this fall and i think she'll really enjoy it.
i'm not sure about this one...ha!
we played "jake and izzy" in her "pirate ship" for a while after lunch.
here is izzy. i never get to be izzy....i'm always jake. but i'm okay with it.
izzy is steering the ship to go find our treasure but then she spots captain hook and we have to slide down and run run run!
"hurry jake, slide down, capt. hook is coming!!!"
my job rocks.
