the kriner's came to town.

jon-jons, ashley, ava and bryce came to visit us this weekend. all 3 girls were SOOO excited to be together and they had so much fun playing.

we ordered mellow mushroom on friday night. the girls enjoyed dining together at their princess table (bless this new baby's little heart if it's a boy....i don't know that he'll be down with dining alongside cinderella and tiana.)

they played with all of sk's toys when we were at the house....these girls play hard! they took all their baths together. and they watched angelina ballerina together. sk was so pleased to finally get to show ava and bryce how she twirls and dances like a ballerina during the opening song to the show. mimi gave the girls matching valentine's day gowns.

trey read the girls their bedtime story. llama llama red pajama is one of sk's favorite books!

ava and sarah kate could not stop talking after we turned out the lights so jonathan and ashley had to move the twins out of sk's room until they all fell asleep and then they moved them back in the bed. the conversations were pretty hilarious.

on saturday morning we got the girls dressed in their new personalized valentine's day shirts (thanks, anna!). we took some pics before heading downtown charleston where we strolled the market, visited the candy shop and had lunch.

this pic of ava is so funny! sk is laughing at her uncle jon-jons. she thinks he's the best person to ever live and anything he says is fun and funny.

ava and bryce are getting so big! so is sk, but the twins are heading to kindergarten this august! i feel like they were just born. makes me sad that sk is only 2 years behind them. she'll be IN kindergarten when this new baby is her age. tear. they're all really cute and fun at these ages though. sk is able to keep up with them pretty well now and they are both still real sweet and good to her.

we stopped at the fountain at the charleston place hotel to take some pics. what cuties=)

sk can give her daddy some big ole kisses....

saturday night we let jon-jons pick the dinner spot since his birthday is the 29th (sunday). he chose hometeam bbq - he and ashley love bbq and had enjoyed sk's birthday food so much so we went there. it was yummy of course and all the girls enjoyed themselves. we went next door to the icecream shop afterward so that sk, trey, brycie and i could get our icecream. ava wanted donut holes so they went through dunkin donuts for her after-dinner treat. ;)

so today is jonathan's 35th (yikes) bday. it's hard to believe i'm 10 years younger than him!!! (wink, wink). anyway, i went to teach sunday school and then met everyone at charleston cafe for a late bday breakfast - that is one of their favorite breakfast spots when they come to mt. pleasant.
so that was our weekend. it was so fun! i hope they'll come back for a weekend again soon! sk just told me, "i want to do it AGAIN, mommy!" she could live with them and be perfectly content. and we are going thursday after school to spend the weekend in folkston so she'll get to see them while we are there. she is excited already=)

oh, and i was telling ashley about how we lost sk's beloved "froggy". he is somewhere in alabama...he didn't make it home with us after our trip in november. so saturday while they were out, the kriner fam stopped at one of our baby boutiques and bought her a new lovie. it's a pink elephant and is the exact same fabric and size as froggy. sk loves it so much and thinks it's really cool because ava has a green one just like it. she has been obsessed with it....it went to dinner with us last night and breakfast with us this morning. thank you ashley and family for our new friend! we will guard it with our lives.

real fake cheese

kisses for "eggy"

come back soon, kriner fam!!
