someone is trying to get her crawl on! i do not really encourage this behavior but it's cute to see her trying. she LOVES toys and i do look forward to having her crawl to the toy baskets and choosing toys and such. not really looking forward to her clearing off my shelves and all - if she's that kinda girl....we'll see!
she cleaned out her toy box in the nursery on friday. she just sat there while i was packing and took out a toy at a time, played with it, and tossed it aside. she worked really hard at reaching the ones in the back!
trey and i follow the "never wake a sleeping baby" rule. however, when said baby has an older sister who needs to be picked up at school by a certain time then you have to wake a sleeping baby! i can't just leave her here at home...can i? ha...kidding.
we went down to folkston this past weekend. sk is a car-napper!
weekends go by so fast and we really didn't do all that much but we had a great, relaxing time. and sk got to play with reagan, riley, ava and bryce on saturday.
i didn't take too many pics but i did get a very nice video of my mom dancing - i think she missed her calling. sk was so ticked off because she was "in charge" of what was going on "on stage" and apparently it was all the dog's turn to perform - NOT mimi's.
i also caught sk singing on the way home. although when she realized what i was doing she pushed my phone away.
we had mild temps today and we are starting to get geared up for the big bunny=)
hayes is growing so fast - drinking from a cup, eating pieces of cut up fruit, etc.
she doesn't have any teeth yet, but seems to manage to gum her food just fine. sk had a few teeth by this point!!
this is sk - 3 years ago!
we've actually been quite busy with other things around here lately, but that's all i want to share for now=)
i'm looking forward to warmer weather, boat rides, and alot more outdoor time with my family! sk starts swim lessons next week in a heated indoor pool. hoping she gets back in the water with ease. i plan to bribe her in case she is fearful. a cupcake, yobe or some new flip-flops should do the trick (along with the standard lollipop of course).
