video and weekend wrap up.

the other day while i was in the kitchen feeding hayes, sarah kate said the pledge of allegiance.  the whole thing.  i had no idea that she knew the pledge of allegiance!  but i'm sure they say it at school - i just haven't ever thought about it and she has never mentioned it.  i got my phone and asked her to say it for a video.  of course that went over real well! (catch the sarcasm).  but anyway, the video is really something!  not because she says the pledge - you can hardly hear her say it once i finally use my mama powers (threatening) to get her to say it.  and i don't even think she says it all correctly.  it's the hand on the hip move she does that is really something- what a girly, sassy mess!
she also appears to be spaced out during most of it.  i would say she had probably been at school and was tired, which may totally have been the case (i don't remember when i took this video) but truthfully, she gets that from me.  we zone out alot.  oops.

hayes has crawled a little more.  she can actually lay on her tummy and drag her body completely across the room just by using her arms.  she does this more than anything!  but then she'll get up and rock and do all of that good stuff before crawling a little ways to get to her toy of choice.

i took a few pics of the drooly girl today after church.

with sis...

look hayes-o, we can crawl too!

and we also like to just lay down and chat...
sk is proud of hayes.  she says, "hayes is crawling all by herself!  she can do it all by herself, good job haysie!"
sk also reads books to hayes, asks her questions about the book, answers the questions for her and then praises her for a job well done.  for example, "haysie, i'm going to read you a book about bugs.  do you see the bugs?  what kind of bug is this hayes?  a caterpillar.  right!  it's a caterpillar, good job hayes!" cracks me up!

we made it downtown yesterday for water mission international's walk for water.  it started at 9 and was over before the rain came.
the girls did great and enjoyed the stroll!

on the battery

crossing the "finish line." (i look thrilled.)

this little lady was all smiles!

of course the pig was there!  sk was so excited=)

we've got a busy week ahead!  sure wish the weather was going to be warmer!
