athens.

trey and i spent this weekend in one of our favorite cities with lots of our favorite people.

to top it off, we went to our favorite stadium to watch our favorite football team completely destroy auburn. it was awesome.

we send big thanks to ansley and her family for the awesome 50yard line seats. i had such a good time watching the game with ans, lauren and ansley's parents. at half time we all met up to discuss the unbelievable smack-down that was happening in that stadium.
i met up with this handsome guy who had been sitting with some of our guy friends....

trey came back to sit with us after half-time and we stayed until the beginning of the 4th quarter before leaving to go to dinner.

it was so fun! 45-7. unbelievable.

even though we left the game a few minutes early we still had to wait forever to eat at one of our favorite restaurants. which at first i wasn't too excited about but then one of my favorite cousins walked in and it made the time go by fast since i don't get to see him too often anymore. love my dean so much and was glad to catch up with him!

it was a great weekend in athens. and back home in charleston our girl had a blast with her mimi and papa! they went out to dinner friday night and mimi said that right in the middle of dinner that sk reared back and yelled, "i SO happy!!" and happy she was. they went to the aquarium on saturday and had a picnic downtown. they went out for icecream. they played play-dough and painted pumpkins. they played on her playset, went for a wagon ride and watched disney movies. i swear she grew a foot, her hair grew 10 inches and she added one million new words to her vocab just in the 2 days we were gone. ha! no really, she seems older. anyway, thank you thank you thank you mimi and papa for driving up here to take care of our girl. we appreciate it more than you know and sk loved having you here so much!

so glad i haven't had to post a 'crying pic' much this year! the dawgs have won 8 straight games!

what a perfect weekend in our old wonderful college town.
