how you doin????
so, yesterday when i picked sk up from school her teacher told me that sk did not have her picture taken. she didn't want any part of it.
her teacher said that i could take her back up there today and help with it if i wanted to so i did. she didn't want to sit and have her picture taken today either, but she did it.....for a muffin. she said she wanted a pumpkin muffin or a pink muffin so i told her that if she sat there and let them take her picture that we'd go get a muffin.
so she did it. she scoured a little but the ladies and i made complete fools of ourselves and she laughed, they snapped the picture, mission complete. as promised we left the school and went to starbucks. she wanted a pink muffin. luckily they had a mini-donut with pink icing. so that's what she chose. and i had a croissant.
i took these pics outside yesterday. she was in an excellent mood ALL day yesterday (with the no-picture taking exception of course).
i don't use the school pics for my christmas card or anything (or i didn't last year), but i like to order a small package for the memory.
so anyway, i know it's not a big deal but i'm glad we tried again. it's nice when you get a second chance especially when a muffin is involved.
