anyway, today my mom left. she's been here since saturday and sarah kate was completely devastated to see her pull away. mimi even took her for a ride in her car before she left because sk was crying, "ride ride mimi's car....PEASE!!" it was pitiful. after mimi left and we moped around the house a while, sk decided she wanted to put on her new tutu "baving soup." she didn't want to go to the "geach" or the pool but she did want to play outside in the yard a while....stopping at times to pout and call out for mimi. i just thought she looked so cute in that little tutu thing so i took my camera with me and took pics while she played. thought i'd post them on here=)
look at my oh so handsome little boy back there in the pic below! he has received his summer hair-do and is in his spot! he could sit there for hours by that tree and just watch the birds and leaves and what-not. he is just the dearest little dog. love our beau. i realized later that bella was actually in the marsh hunting....i saw her come out with a big lizard hanging out of her mouth. sorry i didn't get a pic of that. she is such a joy.
this pic below is so deceiving. it makes it look like sk can run at some kind of amazing top-speed! she cannot. not to stereotype us lovely ladies out there but my daughter runs like a girly girl. it's hilarious. she swings those arms back and forth and her little toosh goes from side to side in the girliest little way. she's so physically cautious that she's probably still a little afraid to run like the wind. i hope she doesn't get angry with me when she's older and reads this....i mean, in all seriousness, the child can "dribble" a soccer ball like she's 5 so her ultra-girly run has not hindered her athletic abilities one bit;)

feeling a little down about mimi:
while mimi was here trey and i went out on 2 dates! last night we actually went and played tennis at our neighborhood courts, cooled off in our neighborhood pool and then went out on a date to a new bar/grill down the street! it was so fun! we take sk with us to play tennis some but she doesn't stay off the courts very well even though we take things for her to play with. saturday night trey and i went out to one of our favorite little italian places. sunday, my mom and i drove to summerville for monty's wedding. sunday night my mom took trey, sk and i out to dinner to the boathouse. it was so yum and sarah kate was so funny=) we had a good time! monday was our beach day with mimi. i took some pics after dinner sunday night and a few on monday at the beach. i'll post below!

we have a ton of stuff coming up! quite a busy little summer!
**also....please pray for rain in folkston! the whole county seems to be on fire and there was even a fire directly behind my parent's house this past weekend. they got that one under control thankfully, but it is a complete mess down there. they need rain so badly & the only little bit of rain they have received has come with lightening which only started more fires. & not only do we need to pray for rain but we need to pray for the firefighters who are working really hard to control the fires. there are fires up here too. we have not had rain here in well over a month.
