prayer request.

since i haven't really made my blog very public, i know this won't reach too many people. however, those of you that read this then please put this family(read below) on your prayer list. also, sk turned 23 months old today so i'll do her 23 month post later this evening.

i'm a member of moms club mt.pleasant. one of the girls in my playgroup, amy, has a precious little girl, preston, who is sk's age. amy is also 24 weeks pregnant with her second baby. she went into pre-term labor this weekend and it has progressed too far for them to stop it. she is in good care down at musc where she is on permanent hospital bedrest (where her husband happens to be a resident) and they are just trying to delay it. the baby could come today or a couple of weeks from now. either way, 24 weeks is just so early so the scanlon family will need lots of prayers. on top of it all, they are moving in 3 weeks (penn. if i remember correctly...she has told me several times but my detailed memory is shot) for her husband to start his new residency. just take a minute to say a prayer for this sweet family.
