friday!!....

had to post some pics of sarah kate from tonight. i gotta say....toDAY was a bad day. sk was awful. she was completely unpredictable.....went from insanely happy to being rude, unhappy and whiny in a matter of minutes. not at all like my sarah kate. sure, she's going on 2 and is right the middle of the whole language frustration phase....can say so much but still can't always tell me exactly what she wants, needs, or feels. however, she seemed to change overnight. yesterday was the same way...on/off moodiness and sassy attitude. anyway, she woke up happy this morning but shortly after she finished her morning milk and i got her downstairs she started crying and acting so ugly to me.

we went to gymnastics this morning and had to leave half way through! this has never happened...she loves gym! but she refused to participate in any of the skills and she said she didn't want to play - "NO PLAY MAMA NO!!!" i thought maybe she was getting sick but at the same time i thought that maybe this was my "new" almost-two year old since she acted like this yesterday and a little the day before. i called trey as soon as we left gym to tell him how horrible it was and he said, "go straight to publix and buy her old milk....that's where we need to start." okay.....trey is almost always dead-on right about anything regarding sk...he's a quick thinker, too. we had changed her milk a few days ago. she always drinks publix's greenwise organic whole milk but a few days back our publix was out so trey picked up the 365 brand from wholefoods while he was there. we had both noticed that she was extra gassy lately so this completely made sense that maybe she was just uncomfy! not that we aren't going to have bad days!!! BUT let me tell ya....after just 2 cups of her old milk....our old girl was back in business.

we bravely took her out to dinner tonight after the switch and she couldn't stop giggling and she ate a whole plate of bbq! she was back to her old goofy, playful self tonight after bath....her favorite time of day is when DADDY gets home and we're all together. he does bath and then plays with her and she just loves it. anyway, all this really makes sense since we've always had to be careful about her milk. she was allergic to my breast milk, to regular formula, to sensitive formula and had to be on alimentum. then we discovered that publix's greenwise milk worked great for her tummy when it was time to switch to whole milk. guess we'll be sticking to what works and i'm hoping she isn't so agitated tomorrow...we'll see=) anyway, here are some pics from tonight....this is how i needed this day to end. so good to have her back! we'll take the good with the bad, but we want her to feel good and be happy!
