a folkston weekend.

the lucy family went down to folkston last weekend. it was our favorite kind of folkston weekend, too! no agenda...no real obligations...just us, family, a golf cart, a few dogs, a couple of horses and a bunch of cows. sarah kate had a blast and wanted to play outside alot, so we did. friday when we rolled into town we dropped off sarah kate at mimi & papa's house and then trey and i went out on a 'hot date.' =) we went over to fernandina for dinner (shocking i know...ha!). then on saturday we played, did some visiting in town, napped, and then went over to st. marys to eat dinner & play with the twins and mimi while "ash-ee" and "jon-jon" went to dinner. we had alot of fun. sk tries to be just as big as her cousins and they adore her & take great care of her. on sunday, we went to st. marys and had lunch with J&A & ava/bryce before coming back home. short trip, but lots of fun. our ride home was not fun.....sk did fine thankfully, but we got stuck in stand-still traffic for over an hour on I95. we were miserable! sk really really really made it all better this morning by sleeping until 8:45!!!!!! it was glorious. missed playgroup this morning and so we packed a picnic lunch and headed to the beach to dig in the sand. here are some weekend pics!

before heading to sonny's for some dinner, trey, mimi & i took the girls to osprey's dock to fly a kite. since the wind wasn't strong we decided to skip the kite flying and check the crab traps. here's a pic of the girls & i watching mimi pull up the trap.

we spent some time over at becka's house on saturday and all the kids played in her backyard. then we walked over to branda's and played on the front porch for a little while. some emory and sarah kate pics.....sk was taking some pics of her own=)
