we had a great time while mimi was here. trey and i went downtown for dinner wednesday night which was so fun. we stopped of at the rooftop bar at vedue inn first and that's always so nice this time of year. mimi, sk and i went downtown during the day wednesday to play at waterfront park, stroll the market, and eat at one of mimi's favorite lunch spots. we ate outside in the courtyard and sk got the silly giggles BIG time. she sure is a funny girl. today, we took sk to school. she was very disappointed that mimi had to go home while she was at school & was none too pleased that she wasn't there to pick her up. thank you mimi for coming up to see us! sk is lucky to have grandparents who love her so much!
not quite sure what sarah kate is doing in this pic....looks like she's looking at the sun to get a sneeze out=)
"flower! flower!" sk loves flowers=)
giggling at lunch;)
after school today we came home and ate lunch. then sarah kate wanted a cracker. fine. she asks for a cracker all the time. i told her she could have a cracker if she said "please." sometimes she says it and sometimes she refuses. so today, she threw a tantrum instead of saying please. guess who did NOT get a cracker. she'll learn. & she was tired, but she knows what she needs to say when she wants a cracker. this must be part of the terrible two's. trey said she definitely gets her "impatience" from him. glad to know that he accepts full responsibility for this. ha!
well, she got over that. and then she found her "hand" (aka..glove) but became very frustrated (impatient) because she couldn't get it on correctly (can we say, sleepy toddler):

well, i helped her get her "hand" on the right way and then we were so happy. geez. are all toddlers this emotional? or maybe it's a tired toddler thing. OR maybe it's a GIRL thing. girls can be moody. shhhh.....we won't present that theory to trey. we'll just let him continue to say that she is a "little" impatient and easily frustrated because she belongs to him. we'll just stick to that. i'll be responsible for the child you see in the following picture(s). he can be responsible for that strange girl laying on the kitchen floor and crying over a glove. =)
