teething and beau.

yesterday at one point sarah kate's temp was 100.6. still a low-grade fever but also above 100.4 which is the cut-off for going to school. her nose started to run on monday....hasn't been horrible but just a little runny & a little yellow at times. today her temp was around 99.7. she was a little frustrated and tired this morning. she didn't eat well. she has been drooling like an infant and rubbing near her ear which is so confusing to me because it's hard to tell if she's rubbing her molars way back there or her actual ear. so i took her back today to the dr. since it's been a full week since her temp has been low-grade fever. again, just like last friday, she looked great. the dr. said she looked perfect and that a little runny nose was perfectly normal - could have some allergies which we already give her claritin for at night occasionally - and she said that if she consistently has a temp. over 100.4 next week that they'll need to see her again. otherwise, we are to assume that this is teething. sk is working on her 2 yr. molars. so.....i'll just give her pain relievers to keep her comfy when needed and hope that those guys don't take too long to pop through. glad she's not sick. dr. trey has already called to rub it in that his diagnosis was right. ha! sk has always had trouble with teething. she's not a fan and neither am i.

in other news, beau went in to have his hair washed and cut today. trey took him on his way to work. i hope beau never dies. sk must have asked me 500 times where beau was. beau? beau-beau? BEAU BEAU BEAU!!! she was so happy when we got the call to go pick him up not only because that meant she got to see beau-beau but also she got to go for a "ride ride car." anyway, i've gotta say, beau beau looks sooooo handsome. he likes his short hair and feels so good....you can tell. that's all i ever want...is for all my kids to feel good!
