suck it up.

i used to think that cars that had kid's crumbs all in the backseat were pretty disgusting. gross. food sitting in a car. just gross. i thought....why do these people let their kid(s) eat in the car in the first place! LAUGH OUT LOUD. um, now i have a kid. i get it. sarah kate is free to have crackers (her very favorite are "mimi crackers" which is what our family calls them but they are the toll house toppers - multi grain), gold fish, and cheerios while in the car. if she's hungry then she's hungry. if we're traveling and she's hungry and/or bored then she snacks. it's great....i get it NOW. still the crumbs get on my nerves. snack traps are great but every other time she pulls her little paw out of that thing then it never fails....a fish or two may pop out on the floor. with cheerios even more come out because they are smaller. soooooo.....i had to break down and get a good car vacuum. i've had to suck it up and let my kid snack in the car so i HAD to find a good vacuum to quickly suck up the crumbs. i am here to tell you that i've found the BEST car vac on the planet. it works better than the dyson (if you can believe that). it does the job very quickly and is extremely efficient. it will suck up any and every crumb in sight. i even feel okay about using it when i'm driving! yikes!! i don't have a pic of the vacuum in action but i found this pic of the exact model that i've been using.............









that's right. the brand is spaniel but we call it "beau." the best car-vac in the whole world. thank you beau for helping out! and if the car-vac could talk i KNOW it would say, "the pleasure is ALL mine." suck it up, buddy! woof.

sarah kate was so tired when i picked her up from school today! they really wear those kids out. i thought i'd post a couple of pics of her.

trey's parents (sk's lala & grandoug) are coming to visit this weekend. they'll be here tonight actually. so i'll post about their visit after the weekend is through. hoping for good weather! it's gorgeous LOOKING here today but when you step outside you really could possibly blow away the wind is so strong.
